How do I book a class?

Go to the tab "Class Schedule & Sign Up." The list of classes will be at the top of the page with a "Book" button next to the class name. Click "Book" and then choose the day and time you want to book and follow the instructions. You will receive a confirmation email after booking.

How do I pay for class?

We take payment through Venmo @FacilityDanceAlumni. After you book a class you must pay that same day. You must put ONLY A RANDOM EMOJI in the Venmo description. If we do not receive payment your spot is not reserved - even if you signed up - and your spot will go to someone else. Venmo is free to download. If you are unable to pay through Venmo you can pay cash when you arrive to class. Please also refer to "Booking And Payment" under our "Policies" tab.

The website says there are no available times this day for a class and won't let me sign up?

This means that the class is sold out or cancelled for that day. If the class is sold out and you want to be put on the waitlist in case a spot opens up, you must email us letting us know which class you would like to be put on the waitlist for.

How do class packages work?

Just like paying for a single class, you purchase a class package through Venmo @FacilityDanceAlumni. You must put ONLY A RANDOM EMOJI in the Venmo description. After you buy a class package you can sign up for classes and we will keep track of how many classes you use in your class package. We will send an email notifying you when you are almost done using up your class package. If you sign up for a class and you are a no call no show, or you cancel less than 24hrs before the class start time, we will still deduct that class from your package (unless your reason for cancelling is a dire emergency). Single classes and class packages are only good for regular, weekly adult classes, are non-transferable, cannot be shared between students, and expire 90 days from the date of purchase. Class packages and single class purchases can not be used for special events, workshops, pop-ups, or master classes.

What do I need to bring/wear to class?

- Clothes that are comfortable/appropriate for dance that you can move in

- Water

- Comfortable shoes you can dance in such as tennis shoes/sneakers. Socks, jazz shoes, or being barefoot are options for Contemporary class.

- Dancing heels for Heels classes (optional for Burlesque classes). Ones that are ideally close-toed/slight peep toe, no crazy straps, have ankle support, and are comfortable on you.

- Soft knee pads for Heels and Burlesque classes

Where do I enter?

Customers must enter through the front door of the studio and get checked in by Facility Dance Alumni staff before taking class.

Where can I park?

There is parking in parking lot that is down the alley behind the studio, in front of the studio, and street parking.

Can my friends/family come in and watch me?

No. If anyone is not signed up for class they are not permitted to come in and spectate for safety reasons.

I've never danced before, can I still take these classes?

Absolutely! We have a variety of amazing classes for all skill levels. Don't be afraid to jump in to any of our classes whether they are beginner, intermediate, advanced, open level, etc. All our instructors are great at breaking things down and answering any questions you might have. We are one big dance family who wants you to feel comfortable and will never judge you. You are free to learn and grow at your own pace and always have fun!
