Our customers health and safety is our top priority! Anyone displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 will not be permitted to take classes. Masks are optional. Facility Dance Alumni has the right to adjust mask rules as we see fit. Customers must maintain a safe social distance from others. Every customer must sign our COVID-19 Waiver and Liability Waiver before taking any classes. Everything will be signed in person once you arrive to class. If someone is not signed up for class they will not be permitted to come in and spectate. No animals on the premises unless it's a service animal. If you require a service animal please email us.
BOOKING: Customers must book a class in advance to reserve their spot - there will only be a certain number of spots available per class. Walk-ins are accepted but know that if you walk-in you are not guaranteed a spot in class. If the class has reached its capacity, you may email us requesting to be put on the waiting list. If a spot opens up, those on the waiting list (starting with whoever requested to be put on the list first) will be contacted and given priority before walk-ins. You will receive a confirmation email after booking a class, and a reminder email the day before class.
PAYMENT: Customers must pay through Venmo. Venmo is free to download. Customers must add ONLY A RANDOM EMOJI in the Venmo description when purchasing a single class. You must pay the same day that you book a class. Your Venmo payments with us will be Private (only visible to us and yourself). Once you have booked a class and paid on Venmo, you will be confirmed for class. If we see that you have not paid, we cannot hold your spot in class. If you have any issues with payment please email us. Cash will only be accepted if that is the customer's only method of payment and they have contacted us in advance notifying us of this, or if the customer is a walk-in. If you sign up and purchase a class and you are a no call no show, or cancel less than 24hrs from the start time of the class, you will not be issued a refund (unless your reason for cancelling was a dire emergency - then you may request a refund or for that payment to roll over to that class on a different date or a different class on the same date). Venmo shows you what you paid, cash receipts available upon request. Spots in class will not be reserved for customers who have not paid.
CLASS PACKAGES: When purchasing a class package on Venmo customers must put ONLY A RANDOM EMOJI in the description, enter the payment amount, and click "pay." If you purchase a class package we will keep track of how many classes you use and send an email notifying you when you only have a few classes left. If you sign up for a class using your class package and you are a no call no show, or cancel less than 24hrs from the start time of the class, the class will still be deducted from your package (unless your reason for cancelling was a dire emergency). Single classes and class packages are only good for regular, weekly adult classes, are non-transferable, cannot be shared between students, and expire 90 days from the date of purchase. College students and active duty military get 10% off packages - must show your student/military ID. Class packages and single class purchases can not be used for special events, workshops, pop-ups, or master classes.
Classes will be held at Movement by La Vie - 1219 Morena Blvd San Diego, CA 92110. Customers must bring their own water, shoes, clothing, etc. to class. No food or drinks are permitted inside except water. Students must always be respectful of the instructor, the studio, and other students. Our adult classes are for ages 18+. If a minor wants to take an adult class they must have consent from their legal guardian. If you are going to be late you must contact us, otherwise if you are up to 15 minutes late without giving us any notification, and someone else wants a spot in class, your spot will be given away.
All customers must enter through the front door, tell whoever is up front that they are checking in for a Facility Dance Alumni class, sign all necessary paperwork, and then they will be shown to the room where class will be held.
REFUNDS: Refunds will only be given if the customer contacts us through email and cancels at least 24hrs prior to the class start time OR if the customer has a dire emergency (such as medical or family related) and contacts us through email. If we have to cancel a class we will contact those signed up and put their class credit towards another class of their choosing, or issue a refund, whichever the customer decides. If you are a no call no show, or cancel less than 24hrs from the start time of the class, you will not be issued a refund (unless your reason for cancelling was a dire emergency - then you may request a refund or for that payment to roll over to that class on a different date or a different class on the same date).
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made at least 24hrs prior to the class start time by contacting us through email. If you have a dire emergency (such as medical or family related) and need to cancel, please email us. If we have to cancel a class we will contact those signed up.
There is parking in parking lot that is down the alley behind the studio, in front of the studio, and street parking.
Every customer must sign our COVID-19 Waiver and Liability Waiver before taking any classes - this includes parents/guardians of children taking youth classes. Everything will be signed in person once you arrive to class. We have the right to refuse service to anyone who chooses to not sign all of the required waivers, disrupts our classes, and/or does not follow our policies.
